I’m glad to be back to blogging regularly! Earlier this week, I wrote about about my 3 & 1/2 goals that I hope to complete before the end of 2019.
One of those goals is to complete three 30-day challenges.
I hope you’ll keep me accountable, as I’ve just started my first 30 Day Challenge!
This challenge ties to a super fun hiking opportunity I have, but I have to train up for it. It’s a twenty mile hike in November! I can hike twenty miles (mostly), but the terrain on this hike is going to be very different from any hiking trip I’ve done before.
So I’m a little nervous.
I’m trying to get out and hike regularly, but with two jobs, I’m having a difficult time finding enough hours to get long enough hikes in.
To supplement some of what I’ll be missing, I want to add in a second part to my training.
So, my first 30 Day Challenge will be… drumroll…
I will do at least 50 squats per day.
I started yesterday! So (if I calculated it right) my last day of doing squats will be Wednesday, 16 October (I think).
At the end of the thirty days, I’ll have completed at least 1500 squats!
Ideally, I’ll be able to keep this up through the end of the year, but these extra squats should help my hiking trip in November.
I’ll check in to let you know how it’s going! And if you want to join me, I’d love the (virtual) company! It’s never too late to get going.
